I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.

Please support me in my fundraising journey, together we can make today easier for kids with cancer and their families.

Helping Kids with Cancer this Christmas

Tuesday 3rd Dec

Hi everyone,

As we approach the festive season, I’ve been reflecting on the ways I can give back to those who really need it. So, I’ve decided to do something a little different this year. On Monday, December 16th, just before Christmas, I’ll be cutting my hair and donating it to Ella Wigmakers, an organization that makes wigs for children undergoing cancer treatment.

For those of you who know me, you know that my hair is long and thick. While it may seem like just a simple haircut to most, for a child who has lost their hair during treatment, this hair could help restore their sense of confidence and comfort during a challenging time.

By donating my hair, I hope to bring a little joy to a child who is fighting hard against cancer—because every little bit counts. But I also want to take this opportunity to ask for your support. If you are able to, please consider making a donation to help fund the creation of wigs for these kids. Every dollar raised goes directly toward providing wigs for children in need, and no amount is too small.

Christmas is a time of giving, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the season than by giving back in this meaningful way. Whether you contribute through a donation or simply share this campaign with others, your support means the world to me and, most importantly, to the kids who will benefit from these wigs.

Thank you all so much for your kindness and generosity. Let’s spread some joy this Christmas season and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

With love and gratitude,
Tia Smith
