As part of this programme we have partnered with a wig maker here in Australia that will take the hair, and make wigs for sick children that require one.
If you are interested in donating your hair, it is always best to do this at a professional hairdressers, as they will know the right way to do this. These are the details for our Wigmaker, place hair in a plastic zip lock bag and send to;
‘Ella Wigmakers’ will accept all types of hair, the hair needs to be a minimum length of 20cm clean and dry. Before cutting use multiple pony tails (where you can) with elastic bands down the length of the pony tail, or plait each pony tail, then cut above the top elastic band and post in a plastic bag inside an addressed parcel to:
