The big chop 💗

I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

🩷 My biggest chop for a cause close to my heart 🩷

I’ve always wanted to donate my hair, and after growing it for the past year and a half, I’ve decided that now is the time!

My mum has recently started working for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and with several loved ones around me personally affected by cancer, this cause has become even more meaningful to me. Cancer affects so many families, and I wanted to do something small that could hopefully make a big difference.

Hair is such a huge part of how we see ourselves. So many people around me have said, “But your hair is such a big part of your look!” — and honestly, that’s exactly why I want to cut it.

I’m incredibly lucky to have the choice to grow my hair, change my appearance, and eventually grow it back. For children going through cancer treatment, that choice isn’t always there. If I can give someone even a little bit of that feeling back, I’m more than happy to make the chop. 🩷

My donated hair will help support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and contribute to paediatric oncology hospitals across Australia, helping ensure that children facing cancer and their families receive the care and support they deserve.

So… after a year and a half of growing it, it’s finally time for the biggest chop I’ve had in a long while! ✂️🩷
