I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
Working with children each and every day has shown me such a pure and loving side to every child. I want all kids to feel happy, confident and free to simply be themselves.
I’ve been growing my hair out for a little over a year, and in the coming weeks, I’ll be cutting around 25 to 30 centimetres off and donating it through Kids with Cancer - Wigs4Kids. The thought of children experiencing hair loss due to cancer at such a young age is heartbreaking. I would love for my hair to go to someone who needs it and help them feel a little more confident during such a difficult time.
Alongside donating my hair, I’m also hoping to raise money to help provide bespoke wigs for children and financial assistance to families going through cancer treatment, including support with essentials such as rent, groceries and fuel. Donations also contribute to care packs for children, support for paediatric oncology hospitals and clinical staff, and cancer research and clinical trials.
I would love to make a small difference to children and families going through such a difficult time. Any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my fundraiser, would be so greatly appreciated. 🩷
