I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
I have been growing my hair ever since the birth of my first baby girl who’s five Sitting with her, brushing and combing her soft little hair, I would watch her smile and laugh at the simplest things, and I felt a joy I can hardly put into words. Those quiet, everyday moments — the gentle tug of her hair, the way she would giggle when I twirled a strand — made me realize just how precious these small, ordinary experiences truly are.
It also made me think of the parents who don’t get to have these moments, the parents whose children are battling cancer, whose days are filled with hospitals, treatments, and fear instead of laughter and hairbrushes. Those parents can’t feel the simple joy of brushing their child’s hair, of hearing their giggles, of sharing a tender moment that seems so ordinary but is actually priceless. The thought of their struggle stayed with me, and I wanted to do something — anything — to bring a little light into their lives.
That’s why I decided to donate my hair and raise funds to help these families. My goal is to reach $1,500, so that along with my hair donation, I can give families who are facing unimaginable challenges some comfort, support, and hope. I want them to know that even in the darkest times, there are people out here who care, who see their struggle, and who want to help make a difference.
If I can help even one family feel a little bit of the joy and normalcy that I experience every day with my daughters, it will mean the world to me. This is more than a donation — it’s my way of sending love, hope, and a reminder that they are not alone.
