I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
Dear friends,
Sometimes it’s good to let go of things precious to us. As we bring the Year of the Shedding Snake to a close and usher in the Year of the Horse, on Saturday 24 January 2026 I’ll be cutting my hair — something I was planning to do anyway — and choosing to turn it into an opportunity to support a cause greater than myself. You'll have to get to know me all over again, without the enticing luscious locks ;)
Rather than letting the hair go to waste, I’ll be donating it and fundraising for Kids with Cancer, an organisation that uses hair donations to create bespoke wigs for children, provides essential financial support to families, and helps fund paediatric oncology hospitals across the country.
If you’re able to donate or share this fundraiser, your support will directly contribute to care, comfort, and dignity for children and their families during treatment. Every contribution makes a difference.
