I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
Why I am cutting my hair
It is hard to think 6 weeks ago my Pop was driving me to school. On Monday the 11th of May my Pop had a seizure in front of me Mum and Nan. At first, they thought it was just a tiny stroke. Unfortunately, he had another one a day later.
After a brain scan, we found out It was a tumour. He had an operation to see how bad it was. It is bad. It is stage 4 Brain cancer. It is the worst kind it is called Glioblastoma. There is nothing I can do to save Pop he is only 77. My papa also has blood cancer and is receiving treatment. I was talking to Pop about his cancer, and he told me he hates thinking about kids with cancer. This has made me decide to donate my hair and raise money for Wigs for Kids. Hopefully it helps make a child fighting cancer happy and I make my Pop proud.
