A Small Sacrifice for a Big Smile
At the end of this year, I’m cutting my hair for cancer because I feel really strongly for these kids. Anyone who has ever been affected by cancer — through their own life or that of a loved one — knows just how much it sucks. I’m fortunate enough to not know that pain, but I want to do the small thing I can do. For me, that’s cutting my hair.
At the end of the year, I’ll be donating 20 cm of my hair so it can be made into a wig, helping one kid feel confident. Honestly, I get a lot of compliments on my hair and when I tell people that I'm cutting it they normally say things like “why?! It’s so beautiful, so healthy, so long, so soft.” But that’s exactly why I’m doing it. If I can have it, why shouldn’t someone who is going through so much already get to have it too?
Hair grows back.
I’m also raising money for families affected by cancer. I cannot imagine the financial burden, so I want to do what I can to support them.
I’d love to exceed my goal and I'd love your support in this fundraising journey — together, we can make today a little easier for kids with cancer and their families.

Well done, a huge sacrifice, but so worthwhile for the child who will receive your hair in their wig.
