Help us change a child with cancer’s life by making them feel more confident
Hair loss from cancer treatment is often unavoidable and can begin just weeks after treatment starts. For many children, losing their hair is one of the first visible reminders that they are unwell, impacting their confidence, identity, and sense of normality.
With your support, we can provide beautiful, bespoke wigs that help children feel comfortable, confident, and more like themselves, whether at home, with friends, or as they return to school. These wigs do more than restore hair; they restore dignity, confidence, and smiles, making a difficult journey a little easier.
Each bespoke wig costs $3,300 and is fully funded through the generosity of supporters like you. Through the Wigs4Kids Program, your donation helps create these life-changing wigs while also supporting families facing the financial burden of childhood cancer, funding vital research, and helping provide specialist clinical oncology care.
Together, we can make today a little easier for children with cancer.

Meet the beautiful Laisani
At just 8 years old, Laisani is bravely undergoing treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) at The Children's Hospital Westmead. Earlier this year, her world shifted in ways most of us couldn’t imagine. Through our #Wigs4Kids program, Kids with Cancer Foundation was honoured to provide Laisani with her very own bespoke wig, created just for her. These wigs are more than just hair. They are comfort, confidence, and a little spark of normalcy during a time that’s anything but.
We know that hair loss can be one of the most emotional parts of treatment for kids, especially for girls. That’s why our Wigs4Kids program is designed with love, care, and individuality at its heart. Every wig is hand-crafted and made to help them feel like themselves again.
And just look at her… isn’t she stunning.
Be Inspired

Jayla, VIC
Jayla chopped her beautiful long hair to make other children that are sick to feel special, to let them know they are really important and loved

Sapphire, QLD
When Sapphire became aware that kids who are being treated for cancer lost their hair, she worried that they might feel bad and uncomfortable at school etc. She said she realised that her own hair would grow back easily so she could donate it so that another child would have hair too and have one less thing to worry about

Rani, WA
Was inspired to donate her hair and raise money in honour of her nana, who passed away from cancer.
