Day of the big chop!

Tonight I had roughly 30cm of my hair chopped to donate to wigs4kids. I will be sending this hair off in the post by the end of the week. I am still raising donations in support of the families who have children with a cancer diagnosis to support them financially. These donations are tax deductable 😍

I won't be the only one missing this hair!

My daughter loves brushing Mama's "mermaid hair". We've discussed that mama will be giving her hair to other little girls who are unable to grow or have lost theirs due to being sick and going through treatment. She understands this will help other little girls feel their best while at their worst.

In January 2023, I am cutting my hair to fundraise to help sick kids throughout Australia.  Not only will my hair be used to make a wig, your donations to the cause, will allow Kids with Cancer Foundation to continue with their financial support of families that have a child suffering cancer. I will be donating 25cm of my hair to make wigs for kids in honor of my late friend, Maddie Smith who was diagnosed in early 2014 with Ewings Sarcoma and after being in remission twice, sadly lost her battle with cancer on the 6 November 2017. Helping kids with cancer was a cause very close to her heart 💛💛💛

My hair donation will be sent to Ella Wigmakers, an Australian wig-maker who is partnered with Wigs4Kids.
