UNSW Volunteers can do something AMAZING just by cutting their hair!
Let's help bring confidence back to kids with cancer!
Students can cut their hair, 20cm or longer and donate it to our Wigs4Kids program! Hair can be placed in a ziplock bag and dropped off to the Arc offices on campus.
Volunteers can also share this link to their family and friends who can make a donation for their amazing efforts! At the end of the year, let's see how much ARC Volunteers can raise as a team
* HEY FAMILY & FRIENDS! *
Whilst your loved ones are cutting their hair, you might like to make a donation to help pay for a wig. Each wig costs $2750. Please help the UNSW Arc Volunteers get to their goal!
HOW VOLUNTEERS CAN PREP THEIR HAIR
‘Ella Wigmakers’ will accept all types of hair.
The hair needs to be a minimum length of 20cm clean and dry.
You can go to any hairdresser of your choice and let them know you are cutting your hair to be donated for a wig.
Before cutting, tie up multiple pony tails (where you can) with elastic bands down the length of the pony tail. Plaiting works too. Then cut above the top elastic band.
Hair can be placed in to a zip lock bag and dropped off at the Arc office, or you can mail it directly to the wigmaker at your own expense.
Ella Wigmakers, PO Box 9200, Wyoming NSW 2250.
Please Include a note to let Ella Wigmakers know the hair is for Wigs4KidsTM.
