I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
I am delighted to introduce my grandson, Kyrie Toloa Dearlove, who is now seven years old. In accordance with Cook Island tradition, Kyrie has been growing his hair since birth, as it is customary for the eldest son to do so until he is ready to transition to the next stage of life. This weekend, Kyrie will undergo a haircutting ceremony, marking a significant milestone. Notably, he will be donating his locks to the kids with cancer foundation/wigs4kids. While this will be an emotional experience for us, we take comfort in knowing his hair will benefit a child in need. We gratefully appreciate any donation, large or small.
