I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.

Crazy Sock Day

Friday 4th Jul
today my school held "Crazy Sock Day" to help support my fundraiser and it was amazing! Every stripe, polka dot, and fuzzy pair helped me get closer to doubling my original goal.

Radio Interview 🎙️

Tuesday 1st Jul

This morning, Mum, Fairy Bear, and I visited our local radio station - Brock FM before school to talk about my upcoming hair donation for kids with cancer, wigs 4 kids. I was a bit nervous at first, but Sarah, the lovely host who interviewed me, made me feel so comfortable and even gave me a jar of lollipops!

I got to sit in a big red chair, wear headphones and talk into a microphone. 

After the interview, I got to tour the studio and peek inside the rooms where the presenters record their shows—it was so cool!

Why I want to donate

Hello, my name is Zoe Miller. I am 7 years old from Bathurst, NSW.
My favourite colour is purple, my favourite animal is a border collie puppy and I like to draw pictures for everybody I love.

 I’m going to chop 20cm of my hair to donate to kids with cancer, wigs 4 kids.

I want to donate my hair so that it can be made into a wig for kids with cancer so that they can be happy and feel special. I want to make a difference to someone who is going through a tough time with cancer. I hope I can make someone smile during a time when they feel sad. 

I also want to raise money for kids with cancer to go with my hair donation because every wig costs $2750 to be handmade to fit each individual child’s heads measurement so that it will fit perfectly. 1 wig takes up to 40 hours to make. 

I would love for my friends and family to donate money to help me reach my goal of $1000 so my hair can be turned into a wig 4 kids with cancer.
