The time has come!

Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraiser page! 


My name is Tayla Hassett; I am a mother, daughter and sister! ... I also have extremely long, thick, beautiful hair that I would like to donate to Wigz4Kidz! 

I myself have had had a cancer scare in my young life, with the finding of precancerous cells in my early 20's and undergoing a hysterectomy in my early 30s.  I could not begin to imagine what a child may feel bare this information let alone process it along with the changes (eg chemotherapy hair loss).

I have been growing out my hair for the past TEN YEARS and the time has finally come!

I feel honoured and privileged to be able to be a small part of bringing some joy to someone's life with Wigz4Kidz and to hopefully relieve some pressure for families along the journey.

I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.
