I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
On July 13th, Harper’s heavenly 13th birthday, I will be cutting my hair in memory of Harper Louise Wright. At 7 years old Harper was diagnosed with DIPG an incurable, inoperable brain tumour, she sadly passed away only 10 weeks later on February 4th 2019. This gesture is my tribute to her incredible strength and courage throughout her battle. By donating my hair to be made into a wig and raise funds, I hope to honour her legacy and provide comfort to another child facing similar challenges. This act is a reminder of her enduring spirit and my way of keeping Harper’s memory alive.
“750 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, 1 of 4 will be diagnosed with brain cancer. Brain cancer kills more children than any other disease and remains the least funded.”
I am reaching out to kindly ask for your support in this increasing diagnosis. This fundraiser is in honour for all the children that are battling cancer. Your donations to the cause, will allow Kids with Cancer Foundation to continue with their financial support of families that have a child suffering cancer.
