I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.

Goodbye hair!

Saturday 5th Apr
Yesterday Millie had the big hair cut. Such a big change isn’t easy for a 10 year old but she was so brave!
Thank you so much to Melita at Ruby Skies Salon for generously donating her time and creating such a beautiful style for Millie.
We are so grateful to the support of our community- Millie’s school, soccer team, family, friends, our work colleagues and even complete strangers! Thank you again for your generosity.

The big day is almost here!

Thank you so so much to everyone who has supported Millie and this very important charity. We’ve been blown away!
About 2 years ago Millie heard about the Wigs4Kids program and instantly declared that she wanted to grow out her own hair so she could donate it. I think she very much underestimated how long this would  take and there have been many difficult moments trying to manage such thick, long hair with all her sport and other activities. She also inherited my sensitive scalp and sensory aversion to hair brushing. We appreciate that these challenges are tiny in comparison to the daily challenges faced by the brave children fighting cancer, and are glad that with your help we can brighten a sick child’s day. 
So thank you once again for your generosity!
