I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

I am cutting my hair to fundraise to help sick kids throughout Australia.  Not only will my lovely locks be used to make a wig, your donations to the cause that means so much to me, will allow Kids with Cancer Foundation to continue with their financial support of families that have a child suffering cancer.

Please help me raise $2750 to fund the cost of a wig for child need to feel more confident, you can do this by sharing this page with your family and friends, together we can all make a difference.

A positive change 🩷

Saturday 4th May
It's been 40 years since my hair has been cut above shoulder length.  In 1984 I got it cut short because I wasn't looking after my long hair. At 10 years old I apparently hated the hair brush. I was told by my mum if I didn't start brushing it we were off to the hairdressers. True to her word, off we went. From that day I grew it longer and have always had long hair.  I decided last year that I wanted to have it cut and when I read about the wonderful work wigs for kids do I had to help. My long golden locks have been something that people comment on weekly. They were a bit of a safety net, I'd hide behind them but I don't need them anymore. Sparkles are appearing and as I begin a new decade in my life I'm excited for the change, for me and for the child who will receive my hair ~ May your new locks bring you confidence and happiness in your journey x
