Help me reach my goal of $2,000

I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

Hi my name is Ruby, I am 7 years old and I am donating my hair and fundraising money for children with cancer.

I have made this decision after learning about my nannas story who in 2008 at 29 years old was diagnosed with breast cancer. In 2009 my nanna Gray underwent chemotherapy in which she lost all her hair and had to buy her first wig. 
I hope my locks can change another little persons life in at least a small way and make them feel beautiful like my hair always has made me feel. 

I love my hair and will miss it but I am super excited for the easy morning routines of brushing my hair, not having my little siblings and cousins pull my hair and for the new hair styles and accessories.

Other than trims this will be my first major hair cut in my life in which I’ll be donating 20cm of my hair. 

I’ve had some super crazy hair days (some unintentional). My favourite memory was having my hair braided in Bali on a family holiday with my dad, Aunty Jummy and Nanna Pisani.

I will be joined by my close family on Sunday 8th of January 2023 to cut and donate my hair.

Myself and my family appreciate your support and I can’t wait to show everyone my new look in the new year.

I am cutting my hair to fundraise to help sick kids throughout Australia.  Not only will my lovely locks be used to make a wig, your donations to the cause that means so much to me, will allow Kids with Cancer Foundation to continue with their financial support of families that have a child suffering cancer.
