Rosie Is Donating Her Hair

We are so very proud of our gorgeous girl, who, after about 2 years of thinking, planning  and growing her  hair her whole life,  with only annual trims, has decided to donate her hair to Wigs4Kids Australia. 

Not only is she aiming to donate approximately 40cm (35cm is needed  to actually make  a wig),  but she is aiming to raise enough funds to cover the entire cost of making a custom wig. Each wig provided by Wigs4Kids changes the life of a child facing medical hair loss, helping them feel more confident, comfortable and like themselves again. 

This has been a long time coming. For almost 2yrs, Rosie has talked about wanting to help other kids  who have lost their hair through illness.  She has watched countless YouTube videos and testimonials of kids who have been affected in this way. Her compassion and kindness warms our hearts every day.
She's finally ready to take the next step and  she will have her hair cut during her school assembly at the end of Term 2, with her friends, teachers and  family cheering her on!  (Date to be confirmed with school). Rosie's hair will be cared for by her wonderful local hairdresser Suehelen , from Styled By Suehelen, who also has a little boy in Rosie's brothers class at the same school!

We would love your support in helping her achieve her dream. Every dollar donated brings her closer to fully funding the making of a wig - a beautiful , lasting gift.
