I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.

Why?

For those of you who know me well, I’m sure you’ll understand how much of a challenge this last year has been. Cancer has unfortunately been a familiar and difficult part of the story for some of my family members. After the toughest year of my life in 2024, my family was hit with news of my nephew’s diagnosis of Osteosarcoma early this year. He has now battled through months of Chemotherapy and surgery and is focused on the road ahead. 
 
Now time for something positive! I have decided to donate my hair to a charity that makes wigs for kids with Cancer. It's easy to become overwhelmed and feel helpless at times, but one thing I can give, is my hair. If I am able to bring even a little comfort or confidence to a child and their family, it's more than worth it.

I know Cancer has touched so many of your lives in so many ways, so if you are able to contribute, any donation – big or small - would mean so much. 

While I'm not shaving my head this time, I will be losing at least 30cm of hair on Friday the 5th of Dec.
