I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
I'm Mia and I will be donating my hair to Wigs4Kids and fundraising for Kids with Cancer.
Worldwide, around 400,000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed in children and adolescents each year. Childhood cancer kills three children every week in Australia, which is more than any other disease. For every ten children diagnosed, two don't survive.
Donations with Kids with Cancer go to operating costs and their five charitable programs. These programs include Wigs4Kids, Hospital and Clinical Positions, Research Funding, Family Financial Assistance, and Care Packs 4 Kids.
Hair donations go to creating bespoke wigs for children in need.
I will be cutting my hair at the end of September. Donations are greatly appreciated up until the day of.
