In Loving Memory of my beloved little sister Chloe 🕊
Hi. My name is Megan. I am an 18-year-old girl from Perth, Australia.Â
In 2024, my little sister Chloe battled an aggressive and rare form of Melanoma. She had to endure Radiation Therapy among other treatments, which caused her to begin losing hair. Unfortunately, she passed in June of 2024 and lost her battle to cancer.
I've always had long hair and have put in great effort to take care of it. For a long time, I have been considering cutting it off to donate and create a wig for someone else going through cancer. When my sister battled it, it solidified this decision as I saw what she went through and how hard it was for her to lose her hair. It made her feel like she was losing herself, which I hated to watch and I constantly wished I could help her. So, because of this, I want to help others fighting cancer so that they can feel a little bit better and can continue their fight.
As well as cutting my hair, I am setting up a fundraiser to raise money to assist families in need, support the creation of these wigs and fund paediatric oncology hospitals across Australia. I want to help ensure that every child facing cancer recieves the love, care and support that they need and help them to smile.
Please consider leaving a donation on my page or sharing the link to others to support those battling through this disease, as no one should ever have to go through this. Please also leave a donation in loving memory of my sister Chloe, someone who was taken from this world too soon, whom I love and miss endlessly every day.
Thank you so much for your support x
