Following the longstanding partnership between Hudson Mitre 10 Trade and the Kids with Cancer Foundation (KWCF), I am proud to continue supporting an organisation that makes such a meaningful difference to kids with cancer and their families, this time on a very personal level.
I’ll be taking my support one step further by putting my hair on the line!
At our upcoming Hudson Mitre 10 Trade Golf Day in Katoomba on 20 November, I’ll be taking the plunge and having my hair chopped off to raise funds for Wigs4Kids™.
Did you know that Kids with Cancer Foundation covers the $3,300 cost of a bespoke wig for a child who has lost their hair during cancer treatment?
Hair loss can be another incredibly difficult part of an already challenging journey. Through their Wigs4Kids™ program, they help kids regain their confidence, self-esteem and a sense of normality when they need it most.
But the Kids with Cancer Foundation's support goes well beyond wigs. Funds raised also help provide essential financial assistance to families in need and funding for paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, helping kids facing cancer and their families receive the care and support they need and deserve.
Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference and helps the KWCF continue its incredible work.
