I am cutting my hair and raising money to make wigs for kids with cancer.
Hi everyone,
I am Kaylee and I turned 12 in January. I have been growing my hair for over four years to be long enough to donate. In my first year of secondary school, I am finally cutting my lovely locks on the 15th of March 2024 to be made into a wig for a sick kid in Australia.
Please help me raise funds for the cost of making my hair into a wig to allow a child to feel more confident. The full cost of making a child's wig with the donated hair is $2,750. Each wig is hand-made in NSW and takes around forty hours to make. It needs to be fitted to the individual child's head measurements. The wig is provided FREE to the child needing one. I have set the target at a modest level to partially cover the cost of making but if we can reach closer to the full cost that would be fantastic.
