Hi, I’m Jude and I’m 9 years old.
I have been growing my hair for 5 years, now it is time to donate it so it can be made into a wig for a kid who has lost theirs, because I think every kid deserves to feel like themselves strong, confident and proud.
Hair might seem like a small thing, but I think it can be like a superpower. It can help someone feel brave enough to go to school, smile at their friends and look in the mirror and feel like “me” again.
Cutting my hair feels like a big, brave thing for me to do. But if I can be brave for a little while so someone else can feel brave every single day, then that’s worth it. If my hair can give someone even a tiny bit of their superpower back, that would make me so happy.
I’m also raising money to help turn my hair into a wig, because that costs a lot. Thank you for helping me give another kid their superpowers back!
