Help me stand up to Cancer
I have always loved having long hair, but then I realised that some kids have to lose their hair in order to get better, and I felt that was completely unfair. I have decided to cut my hair 20cm to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.
I have also decided to take this journey, because as some people may know, my family and others have been very heavily impacted by cancer in 2024.
In 2024 we lost one of my mums best friends, who was one of the most amazing, positive and encouraging person that I have ever met. She passed away after a well fought battle with Cancer, which was so unfair, because she still had a amazing life left to live, and Cancer stole it.
Also in 2024, my amazing Aunty passed away after a shock cancer discovery. My aunty was one of the most caring, nurturing and creativing person I will ever have the pleasure of meeting. She was the head of the family, the one that would always bring the kids presents, and celebrated even the smallest of achievements. Cancer took this amazing lady from us, and its not fair.
So I'm standing up to Cancer. For all the kids with cancer, for their families, for my family and others. Please support me in my fundraising journey, and help me support those who need it the most.
Thankyou. Xx
