I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
Almost 10 years ago, I started growing my hair with the intention of making a one-off donation. It was something I had always wanted to do. Over time, that single donation became something much more meaningful, and I continued growing and donating my hair to help others. Knowing it could help a child regain their confidence during such a difficult time has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
This year will be my final hair donation, and I've chosen to support Kids with Cancer through my fundraising efforts. The funds raised will help provide bespoke wigs for children, offer vital financial assistance to families facing the challenges of childhood cancer, and support funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across Australia.
Every child deserves care, comfort, and the opportunity to feel like themselves, even in the toughest of circumstances.
