I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.

Georgia is already planning to grow it again and cut it for another round of donations 🤭 we are so incredibly proud of her and the decision to donate her hair

I can’t wait to updated you all with her new haircut tomorrow. She is so excited to get it done 💇🏼‍♀️

Final 36 hours

Monday 3rd Mar
Well this is the final 36 hours of fundraising 🩷 

Georgia only has $366 to go 🏁

I’m sure there’s a few more donations out there to help Georgia reach her goal. This money is going straight towards the Kids with Cancer foundation to help make a Wig 4 kids. 

Georgia’s hair will be made in to a children’s wig as well. I couldn’t begin to imagine the impact this is going to make for a little girl or boy 

Day 10

Monday 3rd Mar
Day 10 finds us reaching for these final donations, Georgia is only $470 off of hitting her goal of $2750. 💚

The date has been set and Georgia will be getting her hair cut on Saturday, videos and pictures to come 📷

If you’re holding out for pay day (like us 🤭) before making your donation we’d love to be able to reach her goal before Saturday. 

Day 7

Sunday 23rd Feb
Day 7 is here of fundraising and Georgia has raised $2173 of her goal of $2750. Such an incredible effort by everyone involved in her little world. 

Some people know that Georgia’s Poppy has Cancer, (metastatic neuro-endochrine tumors) thankfully he’s been able to and still is receiving treatment for this yucky disease 🦠 

I’m sure most people you speak to have been affected by this awful disease and unfortunately it’s not limited by anything 

With us reaching our goal much quicker than we anticipated Georgia is keen to cut her hair, so when we reach our target be on the look out for the next update with a new do 💇🏼‍♀️

Day 5 of fundraising for kids for cancer and we are 2/3 of completing our goal 🩵

Isn’t it funny that you always remember the first haircut 💙 this little nugget was about 18 months old when she had her first trim and unbeknownst to me I was supposed to keep a bit of it 😬 oh well, lucky she continued to grow more.

Wednesday 19th Feb
Day 2 of fundraising for kids for cancer and we have reached $1047. Our little community is incredible 💚 

Georgia is feeling all the emotions about this so far. Sometimes happy, sometimes a bit sad. But what we keep reminding her about is when you get a hair cut normally, your hair just goes in the bin but this way we are helping someone that can’t grow their hair like she can. 🍀

This page is dedicated to my big kiddo Georgia. She’s 7 years old and is excited to give herself a change of hairstyle. She is looking forward to fundraising some money towards childhood cancer.
