Help me reach my goal of $1,500

I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.

Hair for hope and courage 🙌

Imagine being a child growing up in today's world. 
Societal struggles like many of us could not even imagine. 

Bullying, harassment, the violence. 
Add to that the online world of terror that comes in many different ways and forms, from many different people and many different ages. Some known to each and some unknown. 

From plain bullying and harassment, to luring them into dangerous, violent and sometimes deadly situations. Even to convincing self harm and even suicide.

Imagine falling to illness as a child with these same pressures, cancer being one.

Learning that you have cancer as an adult is a horrifying situation, let alone being a child who is already going through one of the most challenging times of life, finding who they are and their identity in the world.
Losing themself physically, mentally and emotionally. Losing their identity for what they know so little of, and then losing their hair, which brings on further struggles from the nasty, sickening people of the world who torment, ridicule, bully, and so on.

Not only imagine that as any child and awful sad and challenging it is, imagine that you learn this to be the fate of your own child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or friend's child.

For just a donation of hair, is life changing in such a time of pain and unease.
For just a small donation, you can be part of contributing to one of the most confidence building, generous and soul changing parts of a child's experience throughout a horrifying illness.

I'm not one for making a big attention drawing scene, so when I set out for a second time to donate my hair, I was just going to do the same as I had before and have it chopped off and sent away. No fuss and not many people knowing.
My aim is to grow and provide hair for kid's who need wigs throughout illness.
This meant no fundraising. 
When I was randomly talking about it with someone, I was offered a very generous opportunity in return for my kindness to children with cancer. Fundraising has this time become a part of my contributions. 
The page will be open for donations for several weeks after the hair chop is done and sent away. Donations go straight to Kids with cancer - Wigs4Kids, via the link through my registered donation page.

My aim is to grow and provide hair for kid's who need wigs throughout illness.
This meant no fundraising.
