Frankie LANE

I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.

Frankie is a beautiful amazing little 8 year old girl. And we are very lucky and proud parents.

She's had her fair share of trips to the hospitals with various operations since 8 months old.

She has a Rare genetic condition called MFDM MandibuloFacial Dysostosis Microcephaly. And with this come her big personality,  the highs and the lows of her daily struggles of  being a child with a Rare condition.  And the love and joy and resilience to life. 

She is wanting to donate her hair to some one who Needs and Wants it. She has always had beautiful long lush hair. But it is hard to maintain at times with life struggles. She is wanting a change and I spoke to her about 2 years ago on donating her hair to someone in need. This was after a cousin of hers donated her hair.  She said yes this year and we re so proud of her and asked to cut it there and then.

Today she reminded me that she really wants to donate her hair. So here is mum doing her page. 

Help in raising awareness to a great cause and help in Frankie along her journey of donating her hair. This has been a big decision for her. Especially when she's only ever had 2 Trims her entire life. 

I will post progress photos of how things are going. Once we reach the $1000 mark we will make the booking for her to the hairdresser. She would still like her hair to grow a few more inches beforehand.
