I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.

"No-one likes their hair," my sister observed once. "Except for you. I remember walking in on you saying 'I love my hair!' to your reflection in the bathroom!"
It's true. There wasn't much I liked about my looks growing up, but I really loved my hair.
I always had short hair as a child, so as soon as I was old enough, I grew my hair as long as I could. As it turns out, it gets pretty long!
Now I live in rural Australia, long hair just isn't practical anymore. 
I have decided to go much shorter, and  I thought "How amazing would it be if my hair could benefit someone else?"
So here we are!
I am going to get my hair cut off short on or around my 45th birthday, mid-April 2025, and donate my hair to Kids with Cancer's Wigs4Kids initiative.
