I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.
On top of all this, I have done my best for the past 2 years and 4 months to take care of my hair so that someone else can use it. To be honest, this is the first fundraised I've ever done since I moved to Australia and a part of me was wondering whether to do it or not. Then, someone told me 'well, any amount is better than zero so why not?' and now you are reading this.
Since I am turning 32 this month I will start the fundraiser with $320 and hopefully we can get close to (or even pass) the target. If you've made it to this point, big thank you for checking my page and just like I was told 'any amount will help'.
Please support me in my fundraising journey, together we can make today easier for kids with cancer and their families. And as soon as I finish this fundraiser I will continue taking care of my hair to be back in about 2 years time!
