I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
As people who know me are aware I prefer my hair short! I have grown it out and now, I'm almost at the point I can donate my hair to kids! So... it's time for a cut!
My only experience with cancer has been with a dear, close family member who suffered with breast cancer and is, thankfully, safe now! But this experience gave me insight on the heartbreak and suffering that is experienced for so many Australians who are going through so many types of cancer. I understand now the difference that the supports provided can make, and I want to help any way I can. So, it's time to say Hair Begone!
I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.
