I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.

Celebrating my 45th birthday and 21 years with hair!
Wednesday 13th Nov I had Alopecia Areata when I was 21 years old. It had a massive impact in my life as I was very young, I was healthy but lost my youth light and have experienced some hard times, but nothing like people that has cancer, specially kids. My hair loss was caused by stress, I tried to treat it for two years but no medicine was working. Then my life has changed when I decided to move to Australia and have a different lifestyle. Years later, I became an Ironman athlete and because of COVID lockdown period I could not have a hair cut for a few months. That was when I decided to donate my hair to help some kids that I have seen in hospitals back in the day during my treatments. This long and heavy hair has been on two Ironman and half Ironman distances world championships plus many more Ironman races since June 2021. Now it is time to donate it and make some kid have the power and strength of this hair as they fight cancer!
