💛 In Loving Memory of Viktoria Salazar 💛🎗️

Hi friends & family,

I’m donating my hair this year to support children battling cancer, and I’d like to invite you to join me in honouring the memory of Viktoria Salazar Uscanga, a brave and beautiful soul who touched so many lives.

Viktoria was my best friend’s daughter. She passed away on July 19, 2018, at just 12 years old. A vibrant and talented cheerleader since the age of 4, Viktoria was full of life, hope, and love. Her journey with cancer began on May 10, 2021, just three weeks after winning the US Finals in Phoenix, Arizona, with her cheerleading team. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right leg.

Viktoria faced her diagnosis with strength and grace. Her first response wasn’t fear, it was a desire to help others. She made it her mission to bring awareness to this devastating disease and support other children fighting the same battle.

Through 18 rounds of chemotherapy in 2021, Viktoria showed incredible courage. While her friends were out enjoying childhood, she was enduring long, painful treatments, yet she never gave up hope. She held strong and never stopped fighting.

After enduring multiple surgeries to remove tumors from her leg and lungs, the cancer seemed to retreat, until it came back even more aggressively. Viktoria and her family fought tirelessly, even traveling to Germany in search of a breakthrough treatment called Regional Chemotherapy, pioneered by Dr. Karl Aigner, a renowned specialist with over 17,000 procedures and a high survival rate.

Tragically, upon arriving in Germany, Viktoria suffered a seizure. Doctors discovered a 3cm brain tumor that made her ineligible for the treatment. Heartbroken, her family honored her wish to return home. Viktoria passed away during the flight , just one hour before landing.

Every year, I share Viktoria’s story in her memory, and I take action to support children like her.

🌟 This year, I’m donating my hair to create wigs for children who lose theirs during cancer treatment. I’m also raising funds for the Kids with Cancer Foundation, which provides vital financial support to families during their darkest days. Every dollar helps ease the burden and brings hope to those in need.
