Aria & Lindsey Hair for Kids

By Aria Milton Join Me

I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.

The time has finally come for my beautiful niece and me to cut our long hair and donate it to help provide wigs for children facing cancer and many other serious illnesses. For many of these children, a wig is not just hair — it is confidence, comfort, and a sense of normality during an incredibly challenging time. Aria is six years old and lives with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. Despite ongoing treatment, she continues to show extraordinary bravery, resilience, and gratitude for the kindness shown to her by others. After our second stay at the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat in Foster last year, Aria and I made a pinky promise to grow our hair for an entire year and donate it to support Kids for Wigs. Together, we have grown approximately 70–80 centimetres of hair, and the big chop is booked for the first week of February. Through this donation, we hope to help children feel a little more like themselves during a time when so much feels out of their control. Any support toward this cause will help Kids for Wigs continue their incredible work and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families who need it most. Thank you for supporting Aria, this journey, and a cause that is so close to our hearts.

Donating your hair to enable kids who have lost theirs to wear a wig is a wonderful and thoughtful thing to do You will also understand what it feels like to not have any hair and people may ask you why you don’t have any. It will be nice and cool in the hot weather but you will need to wear sunscreen or a hat so you don’t get sunburnt. I very proud of you both . Love you Aunty Lynne xxx🫶🤎🩷
