Let's help Kids with Cancer

Cancer has unfortunately affected us all within our lives. It is something we shouldn’t have to endure; however, it seems inevitable. It is painful to see those you truly love suffering with Cancer, and it is also painful watching other families go through unimaginable torment.

No one should go through Cancer and seeing a child diagnosed with this horrible disease is heart-breaking. Social media has many negatives; however, it has the ability for us to bring light and attention to those suffering, which allows them to receive extra support and raise money to fight in this horrible battle.

I began growing my hair casually around two years ago, but it wasn’t until early 2023 that I saw a post on social media that made me think about committing to growing my hair long enough to donate it all to charity. The pain I have been seeing some families go through is staggering and never fail to leave me either shocked with sadness or with complete admiration for them. The strength these children and families have is unmatched and I just want to thank them so much for inspiring me, not only to grow my hair but to think differently about life.

If you feel or want to play a part in making a difference to someone’s life, then any donation would be more than appreciated by sooo many people. The money to make a wig for a child with Cancer is $2,750, if you are donating from the UK or any other country then they transfer and exchange the money easily. £1 is roughly $2 (Aussie Dollar).

I know I haven’t been able to pull off my long hair look, but another child will, and I hope it brings them that extra bit of confidence to fight within their battle. Thinking of the happiness on their face is indescribable.
