I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
I am cutting my hair to fundraise to support the creation of bespoke wigs for children, provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.

Amelia's Cut for Care
Thursday 17th SepLast year, Amelia was involved in a school fundraiser and decided she wanted to do something more, something bigger than a one-day thing.
She had a plan: grow out her hair, long enough to donate.
We looked into it and decided on Kids with Cancer - Wigs 4 Kids, which makes bespoke wigs that help children feel comfortable, confident, and more like themselves, whether at home, with friends, or as they return to school. These wigs do more than restore hair — they restore dignity, confidence, and smiles, making a difficult journey a little easier.
Through the awkward growing-out stages, daily tangles, and probably more hair brushing than she would’ve liked, she kept going.
Now the day's finally here. Before the end of the school holidays, she's chopping off between 30-40cm of hair and donating it, so a child going through something really tough, can get a wig that helps them feel like themselves again.
Amelia is also raising money for the cause, if anyone would like to support her and donate. The money raised will be used to assist sick children and their families, through these tough times.
