I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
Kids with Cancer Foundation Australia launched “Scare Cancer” in 2014 and has raised just over $140,000, to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
Currently we are paying over $400,000 per year in financial assistance to the families that we help.
Kids with Cancer’s promise to you is that 100% of all donations received in our Gift account, will be used to assist sick kids and their family.
EACH YEAR Nicola's Tutoring hosts a SCARY STORY writing competition to RAISE MONEY FOR THE cANCER FOUNDATION DURING the month of HALLOWEEN.
to 'scare cancer' away, you will compose a creative peice of writing between 500 - 900 words which fits the
'Scary story genre'.
You will have 4 weeks to create your story and will be given 1 lesson to start your brainstorm.
make sure your story includes:
- An appropriate TITLE
- yOUR FULL NAME
- An appropriate structure
- Interesting characters
- Some language techniques / devices
- a scary setting
