I'm raising money to help relieve the financial burden from families that have a child being treated for a cancer diagnosis.
I am cutting my hair in honour of my daughter, Eva and her cancer journey. She was a recipient of one of these special wigs last year and it gave her the confidence to leave her room, attend school and feel a little more “normal” whilst going through chemotherapy. Thankfully she is in remission and has been cancer-free for just over one year.
I hope to fundraise to support the creation of these bespoke wigs for other children, like Eva, and to provide essential financial assistance to families in need, and funding within paediatric oncology hospitals across the country, ensuring that every child facing cancer receives the care and support they deserve.
