I'm cutting my hair and raising money to make wigs for people with cancer
I’ve been growing my hair for about three years now - and I started because I wanted to grow it long enough to donate to make wigs for people with cancer. And now it’s time.
When I started growing my hair my grandma was sometimes wearing wigs after she had been through chemotherapy for her cancer. She died earlier this year, which was very sad. Anyway, I’ve decided to donate my hair to make wigs for kids with cancer. But I’m also raising money to support kids with cancer and their families, so, yeah, please donate for that too.

Wow.
I can’t believe how much people have donated. When we created this page it just made the goal $2750, as that’s the cost of a wig. I didn’t think I’d raise much so we just made the goal $500.
But since we’ve raised so much, we’ve put it back up to $2750. But it all goes to Kids with Cancer Foundation anyway.
