Bianca's Journey

Bianca’s world changed in an instant. What her family thought was a broken arm became a leukaemia diagnosis.

Within 24 hours, Bianca and her family left the Northern Territory for urgent treatment at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, a journey that kept them away from home for more than a year.

Through chemotherapy, missed school and countless long days in clinic, Bianca’s beautiful spirit continued to shine ✨

She made nurses laugh, created paper doll chains with friends, and found joy in colouring in, Lego and the small comforts inside her Care Packs.

Support from Kids with Cancer Foundation helped ease some of the pressure with practical, financial assistance and Care Packs bringing comfort and moments of joy when they were needed most.
