We will do everything to help make your Scare Cancer event a success. We will provide ongoing support throughout, and will promote your fundraiser here. We will ask you to keep a record of the donations you receive where a tax receipt is required, amount, name address etc. Donations made in the tin provided aren’t required to have a tax receipt.
When your application to hold a Scare Cancer event is approved, you will be sent an Authority to Fundraise Letter along with your Scare Cancer Pack which depending on what kind of fundraiser you have may contain, balloons, bunting, posters, collection tins, brochures, bookmarks and banking instructions. You will be able to use our logo on any promotional material pertaining to your event. Our preferred wording is “Proudly supporting Kids with Cancer Foundation”.
All funds raised in our name (at a fundraising event) must be banked into our account within 7 days of the event’s completion.
Where necessary, events organised on KWCF’s behalf must have their own Public Liability Insurance (PLI) arranged prior to the event taking place. Some major venues do not require PLI, but it is always best to check this with the venue organiser before confirming your event.
