Wednesday 4th Dec
Miss Ayla returned home yesterday after 6 days of chemo which was her second round. 

She did this with a smile that's lights up a room.  

This warrior princess is an inspiration and I am in awe of her strength and taking it like a champ. 

Ayla will spend some time at home before going for round 3 of chemo on 12 December and having scans within the next few weeks to see how she is progressing 

The tumour has reduced in size so we are seeing this as a positive

Ayla was losing her hair quite rapidly so decided to shave it and look like her daddy ... This kid amazes me as everything she is going through she still has the brightest smile

Monday 18th Nov
So little Miss Ayla came home Saturday afternoon (just gone) and was feeling quite nauseated but happy to see her family including her Nanny Jodie. 

Ayla mainly lays down and watches her ipad as this is more comfortable for her. 

Ayla unfortunately due to having a temperature was taken to Wollongong hospital last night where she has had blood and given anti biotics. 

Go my sweet Ayla you got this and Nanny loves you millions

Thursday 14th Nov
My world as I knew it changed 25 October 2024 when we found out my granddaughter Ayla who is 7 years old has cancer. 

Ayla is the sweetest little girl and always smiling.  

She went to Randwick children's hospital where she undertook multiple scans and tests with her diagnosis being ewings sarcoma. 

My sweet girl is currently in Randwick and had her central line inserted in 13 November and starting chemotherapy 14 November. 

We have quite the journey ahead of us and Ayla will lose her hair so Nanny is going to shave her head and in the process raise money for this cause which benefits kids and helps families out.
